Special Announcements

The results are in!

Here at The Center for Nonprofit Resources, one of the most requested resources is salary information for staff and leadership of local nonprofit organizations.  Recognizing that this information had not been gathered and analyzed in several years; The Center in partnership with Findley Davies, Inc., created an updated, comprehensive tool to gather data on nonprofit compensation and benefits.  A group of executive directors from organizations of varying sizes and scopes was invited to assist us in the development of the survey to ensure the results would meet the needs of our diverse community.   The Center for Nonprofit Resources is pleased to present the 2011 Compensation and Benefits Survey Report.  This report is a free resource for our community to use in budget planning as well as compensation and benefit reviews.  Download the executive summary and the report.

Has your nonprofit organization worked with a wonderful consultant recently?

At The Center for Nonprofit Resources, we sometimes receive requests for assistance that are beyond our area of expertise.  In the past, we have maintained a list of consultants and have distributed that list to those nonprofit organizations who request it.  We do not ever give specific recommendations for a particular consultant but, rather, we provide a list of names, contact information and the names of a few organizations with whom the consultant has worked.  We always encourage organizations to check references before hiring a particular person/firm. At this time, we are revising/updating our consultant list.  If your organization has worked with a great consultant that you would like to recommend, please email Kate Smith at kate@c4npr.org.

Upcoming Workshops

2012 Workshop Calendar

In 2012, The Center for Nonprofit Resources is implementing a fee structure for our capacity building workshops.  Based on our evaluation of workshops over the past few years and a recent survey of our nonprofit community, we have learned that there is inherent value in something that has even a minimal cost.  We have carefully selected workshops presented by renowned and experienced speakers.  We hope that as nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers you will find educational opportunities that will benefit your professional growth as well as the growth of your organization.  Fees for each workshop are nominal and based on the complexity of the workshop offerings, speaker engaged and location.

The 2012 list of workshops has been posted on The Center's website.  For details, please click here.  Please check back often as we plan to add additional workshops.
