Please park in the parking garage below the library accessible from Adams Street. You will be able to enter the library through the garage entrance early for workshop registration. Registration will begin at 5:45pm. You will be provided with free parking only if you park in the library garage.

This workshop is not eligible for The Certificate in Nonprofit Management. First Steps workshops cover identical content; they are not continuations of a prior workshop with the same title.

Description:  In this workshop we will examine what grants are and how they work. We will also help you decide whether or not grants will help your organization and if they will help,  how to find grant opportunities and be competitive grantseekers. This is an introductory course.  It is geared toward individuals who have little or no grant writing experience and individuals who are seeking ways to make their nonprofit organization more sustainable.
