Workshop description:
Do you know collaborating will deepen your organization’s impact but you don’t know where to start? Collaborations mature and change; guiding those changes carefully helps partners renew their commitment and change systems and roles to enhance everyone's work.

Presenter's Bio:
Karen Ray is a recognized authority in building and sustaining collaborative ventures. Her experiences in the 1970's as executive director of a literacy-focused agency mandated to collaborate by state and federal funders led to seminal research in collaboration. Since 1983 she has combined this
collaborative experience with her training expertise to problemsolve with agencies involved in joint ventures. Karen has helped to found dozens of
collaborations and consulted with hundreds of others across the United States during the last 33 years.
Karen also holds a Masters Degree in organization development from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington, and a Bachelors Degree from the
College of St. Catherine.
Karen Ray is President of Karen Ray Associates, a consulting firm that specializes in training and organization development for community,
non-profit and government agencies.
