The Executive Directors' Networking Group is coordinated by The Center for Nonprofit Resources and is open to all Executive Directors regardless of experience or agency size. Meetings are held at various agencies throughout northwest Ohio providing you with a first-hand look at that agency and to assist agencies in discovering potential areas of collaboration. Julie Lengfelder, Ph.D. has been a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Health and Recreation Professions at The University of Toledo since August 2009. She plans to continue building the new major, Tourism Studies and Event Planning, in the next academic year. Prior to joining the faculty at UT she taught for 28 years at Bowling Green State University in the Department of Leisure Studies before retiring in the spring of 2009. Besides Tourism Studies, Julie's teaching and research interests include the following:
*Lifestyle balance--creating wellness in one's life while balancing work, leisure, and a healthy home life.
*Psychology/Sociology of leisure behavior---WHY and HOW do people do the things they do in their free time?
*The study of happiness and positive psychology---what brings us pleasure, meaning, and purpose?
