Services Offered

The Center for Nonprofit Resources is committed to assisting local nonprofits with capacity building, making a variety of support services available to our local community.  These services include:

Calendar of Workshops and Networking Opportunities - The Center has created a comprehensive calendar of events highlighting upcoming workshops and meeting dates of area networking groups including the Agency Director's Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Executive Directors' Networking Group, Grant Writers' Networking Group, Special Events Coordinators of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Area Planned Giving Counsel and the Volunteer Administrator's Network. 

Consultant Database - The Center houses a database of consultants that have been used by other area organizations in a variety of areas including the development of HR policies and procedures, board development, fundraising and strategic planning.  

Grant Assistance - The Center can provide organizations with support services in the areas of identifying funding opportunity web-sites, individual as well as collaborative organizational proposal development and specialized grant making tools to better plan for future funding opportunities. We also offer one-on-one technical assistance and feedback to help you submit more competitive grant proposals. For more information contact nancy@c4npr.org.


Governor's Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives Call to Action Support - The Center can assist organizations throughout the state of Ohio help those most in need through existing trainings and materials offered through the Governor's Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives.  Contact niki@c4npr.org for more information.

Nonprofit Job Postings - The Center hosts a centralized place to post and search open positions within the northwest Ohio/southeast Michigan area.  You can post or search for any type of opening within a nonprofit organization. 

Online Resource Library - The Center provides a comprehensive listing of websites that provide information in all areas of capacity building.

Technical Assistance - The Center has an experienced staff that will work with your organization and provide needs assessment and consultation on a variety of capacity building issues.   Contact julia@c4npr.org for more information.

Weekly E-Newsletter - The Center provides a weekly e-newsletter highlighting upcoming events, workshops and articles of interest. 

Workshops and Training - The Center has developed an ever expanding and changing list of training programs designed to inform and assist local nonprofits.  Programs/workshops/seminars are offered in all areas of capacity building and are facilitated by national experts.  Contact megan@c4npr.org for more information.
