Job Description:

Assist in relaying the Values and Mission of Aurora Project, Inc., by supervising and overseeing all operations of Aurora Project, Inc. facilities. This position is key to the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the agency. The house manager should provide a role model in her daily contact with program participants and the community.

Knowledge/Skills

1. minimum HS diploma
2. good organizational skills
3. operation/management experience
4. good communication skills
5. knowledge of homelessness/substance use disorders/mental health

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Supervise:
- House Monitors
- Facilities Volunteers

2. Coordinate volunteer activity as is related to the physical plant
3. Receive/coordinate non-monetary donations in coordination with Facilities Manager
4. Determine inventory needs
5. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
6. Must be team oriented
7. Must be computer literate
8. Follow policies/procedures of the organization
9. Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to employment
