Job Description:

Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority is currently recruiting a full time clinician for the Access / Emergency Services team.

The candidate will have the skills to provide crisis intervention, assessments, and referral services in a variety of settings.  Candidates will have the ability to provide triage functions at the access center, determine level of care which is most appropriate, formulate an initial treatment plan, and coordinate referrals to treatment providers.

At least two years’ experience providing services to individuals with Severe Psychiatric or Substance Use Disorders is required.  Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related clinical degree; certification or licensure in the State of Michigan is required.  Substance Use Treatment certification is preferred.  Participation in after-hours on-call rotation is required.  Experience with evidence based practice, individual therapy and managed care.
