Community Engagement Coordinator

  • Job Summary - The Community Engagement Coordinator works out of the St Paul’s Community Center’s (SPCC) office under the direction of the Development Committee. The Community Engagement Coordinator must possess a positive, energetic attitude with effective, professional organization and communication skills. Responsibilities will include implementation of community service programs, fundraising opportunities, and formulates public relations in support of SPCC.
Engagement Coordination
  • Manages, plans, develops and executes compelling social media and blog content.
  • Create comprehensive cross-channel content communication plans (ie., social media content calendar)
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign and promotional activities that support social media efforts.
  • Act as a moderator for all social media channels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Event Management, Non-Profit Management, or a related field. One year experience in Customer service or related field plus one year experience in event management or related field.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license.
  • Must be certified in First Aid & CPR or get certified within 60 days of hire
  • Possess excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and have the flexibility to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.  EOE
