Job Description:

The ProMedica Ebeid Center and Ebeid Neighborhood Promise are recruiting for a Manager to join their team. The Manager, Ebeid Center & Ebeid Neighborhood Promisein coordination with the SDOH staff, will oversee the continued development and implementation of the Ebeid Center and Ebeid Neighborhood Promise, including serving as a conduit to community partners to impact social and economic issues that impact health across ProMedica’s service region. 

1. Work to build the programming calendar and community partnership opportunities associated with the 2nd floor of Ebeid Center.
2. Manage programming and logistics of UpTown Green Community Park.
3. Support daily operations of Ebeid Center including staffing oversight as assigned, reporting of maintenance needs, ordering of supplies and equipment, oversight of third party rentals of community and available space, vendor management.
4. Works to understand needs of local neighborhood and develops appropriate programs and services to meet community challenges, as it relates to the social determinants of health.
5. Develops outcome measurement and data tools to monitor progress and impact of implemented services and programs.  
6. Establishes positive partnerships with community stakeholders and leaders to ensure that the full complement of services in the Ebeid business model are effectively and efficiently implemented and that relationships with partners remains solid.
7. Oversee the daily operations of the Ebeid Neighborhood Promise initiative including tasks related to the Ebeid Implementation Plan and associated workgroups.
8. Establishes a positive approach in addressing the unique needs of Ebeid Promise’s client base by modeling the values of the organization.
9. Works with the grants department and Foundation to secure needed resources to support areas of focus.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, Nonprofit Administration, Social Services, Health Care Administration, or related field.
  • Ability to quickly establish positive relationships with diverse populations; clients, community partners and direct reports.
  • Experience: 
    •  1. Extensive experience in project/program management including budgeting, staff scheduling, program creation, evaluation, marketing and partnership development.
    •  2. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a community or business plan; preferably in a newly established business venture.
    •  3. Demonstrated experience building community collaborations and partnerships in diverse communities.
    •  4. Strong experience in implementing strategies, programs and system change to effectively impact community revitalization.
    •  5. Documented work history of effectively controlling costs and achieving financial targets through economical utilization of personnel, inventory, equipment and business relationships.
