Important Information:
Jefferson Award Applications - The Toledo Blade is accepting applications for the Prestigious Jefferson Awards in our community. Please take a few minutes and nominate a deserving candidate! Volunteers give so much of themselves and it is wonderful for a community to honor them for their service.
How to nominate someone: Only individuals are eligible for this award. Any local resident or organization can submit nominations.
Go to toledoblade.com/Jefferson at the bottom of the article is the PDF of the Nomination Form.
Simply complete the nomination form along with the following information:
1. A typewritten or computer letter (up to one full page) stating your reasons for your nomination. Be specific: cite clear examples of his or her volunteerism.
2. Include biographical material (not more than two pages) listing the nominee’s public or community service.
3. Mail the package to:
