Direct Support Professional

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with a crew of persons in a variety of settings designed to help with the accomplishment of their
Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals, and outcomes
• Meets customer expectations in the execution of the contract/agreement with Lott Industries.
• Reports customer concerns to Lott Management and works quickly to respond to and address the
concern.
• Complies with all applicable DODD rules, regulations, laws and Lott policies.
• Assists in the development and implementation of each DD employee’s ISP.
• Maintains time sheets, ISP updates, progress reports, monthly program reports, inventories, DD
employee: habilitation, activities and training, payroll, attendance, DD acuity, and related
documentation.
• Works alongside and assists in the skill development of those employees with DD performing the
tasks
• Assists each individual enrolled in Lott’s vocational habilitation program toward their applicable path to
community employment.
• Helps each individual pursue interests and goals toward full community inclusion and integration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education and/or Experience– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One
year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred.
• Language Skills– Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with
supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc. in accordance with DODD Agency Provider Rules.
• Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal
computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, etc.
• Other Qualifications – Valid Driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance required.  Ability to complete Adult First Aid/CPR
training. Eight or more hours of training in accordance with the Agency Provider Rule 5123:2-2-01.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual frequently works in a controlled climate. They may be
minimally exposed to outside weather conditions while working out in the community. The noise level in the
work environment is usually moderate. The work environment may involve exposure to individuals with medical
and behavioral risks.

Full-time shifts available Shift hours available are 3pm – 11pm, Monday thru Friday.
