Posting – position available for academic school year 21/22 – Education Director

The Montessori School of Bowling Green, a fully accredited, chartered, dynamic, private school serving ages 18 months through the 9^th grade, located in Bowling Green, Ohio is currently seeking a strong candidate to serve as Education Director beginning the 21/22 school year. Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in education or closely related field. Qualified individuals must hold a MACTE accredited Montessori credential or be willing to begin Montessori Administrative training within one year of employment (financial assistance is available).  Administrative experience preferred.

This individual oversees all instructional aspects of the school and should be comfortable stepping into a teaching or support role at any time. The director must stay in touch with what is happening in the classroom and supporting programs. The director is responsible for ensuring the professional development and growth of the faculty. In addition, the director must work to ensure motivation and that the faculty stays on course with the school’s mission.  The director additionally ensures the integrity of the Montessori philosophy in the classroom as well as extended programs.
