Registered Veterinary Technician

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and proven leadership skills. He or she should have attention to detail and excellent time management. He or she must be a self directed individual who can work independently and also as a team with other shelter staff. The candidate must hold a current Registered Veterinary Technician license in the state of Ohio with previous shelter/clinic experience preferred.

Duties:

Blood draws

Vaccinations

Health checks

Medication administration

Intakes

Work closely with spay/neuter partner to coordinate weekly surgeries

Provide support to staff regarding animal medical and health concerns
