Resident Account Manager

Resident Account Manager – Women’s Transitional Housing Program – PT (permanent) 20-25  hours per week – $13.00 – $14.00 hourly. This is an entry level PT position with the potential to move to FT.  Based upon experience and performance, there is opportunity for organizational advancement.

Assists in relaying the Values and Mission of Aurora Project, Inc., through the administration of resident accounts

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Associate degree accounting/related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of homelessness & associate causes
  • Well-organized
  • Ability to interact appropriately with participants
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Work with participants to review their income, prepare budgets, and pay debts; facilitate participant access to funds.
  2. Maintain client petty cash and checking accounts.
  3. Maintain Excel spreadsheets and all other records associated with resident account activity.
  4. Reconcile all bank accounts.
  5. Prepare bank deposits.
  6. Follows all Aurora policies and procedures
  7. Cross training with accountant’s duties.
  8. Other duties as assigned
